Ooc: I wasn't sure exactly what we're supposed to do in order to show up for work. So I guessed. Please let me know if I did this right.
(Would have included more of his personality, but my dad is insisting I wrap it up and get to bed D': )

Kalel swung the glass door to the bookstore open, pleased by the ring of the bell that marked his entrance. He took a few steps in, dark eyes flickering over the several shelves and hardly present people. He adjusted his uniform, taking a deep breath in order to reassure himself. Kal felt entirely... naked in the loose khaki pants, makeup less face, and no piercings. He had forgotten how uncomfortable indoor work made him. Forcing a pleasant smile upon his lips, he continued through the store, his swift pace carrying him confidently to the janitor’s closet. He opened it, scanning the objects within briefly. All he had to was vaccum and..
Oh, crap. Kal grumbled. I forgot to clock in.. He rolled his eyes and shut the custodian door, turning to duck into the back of the store. It took him a while to find the cards, yet when he did he completed his, noting that he was only a minute or so early. He then returned and grabbed the vacuum with a sigh.
He started by the entrance, where the bargain priced books were at. Across from them was the magazines, and Kal resisted a snicker as he passed a ten-year-old engrossed in a dirty page.
“All customers please exit and make your purchases within five minutes. Thank you for visiting!” The intercom sounded a few minutes late. “About time...” Slowly, the few remaining people began to leave. Kal finished up his vacuuming, too tired to really take the time to observe his surroundings or dive into any deep level thinking. When he was done, he clocked out and returned the vacuum cleaner.
With an exaggerated yawn Kal stretched and untucked his shirt.
“Finally!” He laughed and left the store.
