A S H T O N
The store was not packed today, as it sometimes was. In fact, it was rather empty for a Saturday evening. It was harder to work when there were more people there. Wearing the silly uniform that he had been given when he had been hired, Ashton walked into the store through a back door. It took him a moment, but he quickly clocked in a few moments early and headed into the main store. His eyes scanned the area, looking for the least populated place in the store. Quickly finding an area where there appeared to be no customers, he slipped into the isle and began to go through the shelves. Everything here appeared to be in order, with one or two books that needed to be placed back into their proper places. A few books had fallen to the floor and he quickly picked them up and onto their rightful shelves. He went through the store like this, noting which areas needed restocking and which areas appeared to be the most used by the customers. He finished organizing the shelves with plently of time to spare.
Once he was done making sure that there was nothing left on the floor or out of place on the shelves he headed to the back of the store once more. There he found the boxes of different books organized just how he had wanted them to be. Quickly finding the box that he needed, he headed back into the store and began to restock the shelves. There was a shipment of new books in that he went to next, placing them in their correct shalves quickly and without hassle. He finished just in time. After a few hours of working his shift was over and he could go home. He clocked out in the back of the store and headed home. His car was waiting outside. He wasted no time hopping in and placing the key in the ignition, turing it to hear the car start. He drove off, home to the quiant little apartment that he had taken this job to pay for. He secretly wished he had chosen a better job, but he was happy just to have some money.
