A S H T O N
Ashton was back again, for work that he knew needed to be done. He was running a little late today, but managed to clock in just in time. To his dismay, someone had not organized the boxes in the back and he knew that he would have to work overtime if he wanted to manage to get everything done today. He sighed. This would be a long day for sure. But without complaining he set to work on organizing the boxes by type, making sure that everything was in the order that he liked it. It wasn't easy. He had done this more than once before, since it was one of his jobs, but it had been someone else's job last night and it had not gotten done. That meant more work for him. He was fast, but not fast enough to organize the boxes and still finish with all of his work on time. But within a few hours every box was where it should be and he began his rounds of the isles in the bookstore.
Almost everything was in place. The day had been slow and not too many customers had come in to mess up the shelves that he had painstakingly organized only yesterday. But he loved his job and quickly finished his rounds, picking books up off the floor and making sure that everything was in it's rightful place, as he always did. Once he had finished making sure that each and every book was where it was supposed to be, he went to the back and chose the books that needed to be placed on the shelves. There were no new shipments today, but a lot of the books needed testocking and that was what he did. He was quick, but he was still an hour late after finishing. He knew that the boss would not mind, so he felt alright about his good work rather than nervous, and he was soon clocking out and on his way home once more. He was much more tired than usual, thanks to the extra work of organizing the heavy boxes.l
