Jamie
Autumn's End was the best place to be. Thousands of books, thousands of articles and things to read. There were close to a hundred of shelves that stood in the store lined up next to each other. Each shelf was filled with hundreds and hundreds of books. Each one a novel, dictionary, magazine, and every other kind of book there is. There were thick and thins books. There were tall and short books. Some books were colorful, and some were dull colored. But it did not matter to Jamie about the appearance of the book. What mattered what was inside the book. The words, the meaning of the book and the entertainment that the author gave to you. Nothing pleased Jamie more than sitting down and reading book after book.
It was a chilly morning when Jamie entered the bookstore. Wearing a black turtle neck, long sleeved shirt, Jamie walked into the store, hoping to stay there for the afternoon and fill her head with new knowledge and entertaining novels. Opening the door, a small bell wrung as she entered the bookstore. Jamie headed straight for the romance section. Jamie's favorite part of the store was the romance isles and the food book isles. She loved reading romance stories, and she loved to cook. Jamie went right into the romance section of the store first, and when she first got there, she bent down so she could look at the books on the lower part of the shelf. She ran her index finger across the spines of the books, trying to find an interesting book. The first on she pulled out was a story about a widowed mother and her child. As she read the summary on the back, it got down to the point that the mother meets a man, and they fall in love. Jamie thought it was interesting, so she put in under her arm, and looked for another. She was too interested in this book, so she went over to a comfortable looking couch and plopped down on one end of it. It couch was blue, and with white dots across the whole couch. She slid her legs and feet under her, and leaned against the arm of the couch. She opened the novel up and began reading the story.
Not even noticing anyone around, Jamie was too focused on her book. She would end up buying it, and taking it home after she finished it, or after getting through the end of the chapter. There was a coffee place a few blocks away and Jamie would go and get some coffee later on. She already knew that she would be here until evening or so. She enjoyed books, and the knowledge she gained from them. Every little bit, Jamie would glance up and look around, but then would quickly get back into her book. She did not want to do anything but read. Later on, she would want to talk to someone, but right now, she was too into her book to remember that.
